  • Congratulations to the Tilehurst team who won the county

    Double Fours Competition at Bracknell on Sunday 12th September.

  • Congratulations to Scott Winskill who won the County Singles Championship and to Scott and Andy Knapper who won the County Pairs (photos right: click to enlarge). County Finals Day was held on Sunday 8th August at Tilehurst and grateful thanks to all the club members who worked so hard to make the day a success.
  • The club has reached the semi-final stage of the county

    Men's Club Championship Competition. The team beat Windsor & Eton 61-56 on 5th August. They will play Thatcham in the semi-final on 12th August. 

  • Commiserations to the men's team who lost 1-4 to Reading in the Men's National Area Top Club Semi Final, played at Tilehurst on !st August.(photos right: click to enlarge)
  • Commiserations to the Ladies' Team who narrowly lost to Three Mile Cross in the County Top Club Quarter final played at Tilehurst on 31st July.
  • Congratultions to the ladies' Top Club team who won the National Top Club zone final against Abingdon at Trenthams on Saturday 24th July.
  • The recent ladies' Past Presidents fixture went very well, with Tilehurst narrowly winning 35-34. 25/07/21

  • Congratulations to the A team (A Merry, D Hancock, P Hulbert, M Hancock S Winskill, M Clisby, A Collins, A Knapper)who beat Thatcham in the National Men's Club Two Fours. The score was 36-17. They now progress to the Quarter Finals, to be played by July 18th: opposition to be either Hagbourne or Tilehurst B. 17/06/21
  • Commiserations to G. Stalker R. Russell J. Howman, K. Jones, P. Curtis W. West P. Holland & L. West who lost by 2 points to Thatcham in the Tony Allcock Trophy (Over 60s Mixed Two Fours).




    County Men's and Ladies' Invitation Days


    These two events went extremely well. We were very lucky with the weather and everyone enjoyed themselves greatly.


    Tilehurst members worked extremely hard to provide the food, which was very tasty and gratefully received by the assembled bowlers.


    County Men's President Ray Clark and County Ladies' President Sandra Kemp are both members of Tilehurst Bowling Club and are working hard this year to promote bowling.
